Pearl Early Childhood Academy Response to COVID-19
Pearl Early Childhood Academy was proud to serve children of essential workers during the COVID-19 crisis and now has extended their services to include care for all families.
In response to the need for additional health and safety precautions, we have put the following proactive protocols in place designed to keep all of our students, families, and teachers safe.
We hold to the 100.4 temperature threshold; before returning to care, children must remain symptom, and medication free for 48 hours.
To minimize the introduction of germs, we've always had a no street shoes policy; staff and students remove their "outdoor shoes" upon arrival and change into their "indoor shoes".
Currently, building access is limited to students and authorized staff members only; for our families convenience we offer multiple drop-off and pick-up times each day!
All staff and students have their temperature checked upon arrival and 30 minutes prior to nap time each day.
All student nap and personal items are washed daily to minimize the spread of germs. In addition, staff members change out of street clothes and into scrubs prior to each shift.
All meals and snacks are provided in-house to minimize potential home to school transfer of germs.
Our center's shared surfaces and spaces are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized throughout the day with deep cleanings happening each evening and weekend.
All toys, manipulative, and equipment are systematically cleaned and sanitized throughout the day and in between uses.
High priority is placed on frequency and proper technique of hand-washing upon arrival and throughout the day.
Our highly qualified and caring staff members go above and beyond for our students and their families in delivering a clean, safe, and healthy learning environment.

TODDLER (16 MONTHS)
This age group has all the space they need to move, explore, and grow through hands-on learning.
TWOS
This energetic group is always on the move as they achieve new abilities and experiences.
PRESCHOOL (AGES 3-5)
As children prepare for Preschool, they continue to grow, build confidence, and gain independence.
